Best Player of the Arkema Première Ligue

Haitian football star Melchie Dumornay won the Best Player award for the 2025-2026 Arkema Première Ligue in France on Monday night in Paris, presented by the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP). He became the first Haitian athlete, male or female, to receive this prestigious award in one of Europe's top football leagues.

The 22-year-old midfielder received the award during the 34th UNFP Trophies ceremony, held at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, following an exceptional season with Olympique Lyonnais, also known as OL Lyonnes.
