Strengthen agricultural cooperation between countries.

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, Ambassador Jean Mary Vaval, representing the Republic of Haiti, accompanied by Minister Counselor Jeançois Joseph and his assistant, Marlix Carolina Jiménez González, held a working meeting with the Minister of People's Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Julio León Heredia, with the participation of members of his Cabinet. During this productive meeting, both parties reviewed the expectations that both countries have shared over the past several days and the progress of regional initiatives, such as the Agro-ALBA and Agro-Azul projects, which aim to strengthen agricultural cooperation between our countries.

In addition, they analyzed the current geopolitical situation in our region of peace and the fraternal relations inherited from our ancestors.
