Held on Rue Mangonès in Pétion-Ville, the event was attended by leading figures of the Haitian state, including the President of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), Laurent Saint-Cyr, several advisors, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Jean-Victor Harvel Jean-Baptiste. Diplomats accredited to Haiti and representatives of international organizations also participated in the ceremony.
